Job Summary:

Cayuga Health System is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Women's Health team. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our physicians and mid-level providers in the practice.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform clinical duties in accordance with the scope of practice per LPN license and in accordance with NYS laws and regulations.
Take and record patient's vital signs, prepare exam room and sterilize equipment and supplies per protocols.
Provide call management for physicians/providers with regard to clinical questions, prescription refills, test results and other patient calls per practice protocols.
Prepare patient's record for visit, as directed by physician/provider.
Participate in scheduled team meetings to discuss /clarify roles, responsibility, processes, and patient issues.

Requirements:

Graduation from an accredited LPN program
Current NYS licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Previous Women's Health experience preferred

Work Environment:

The work schedule will be between 7:30 am - 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday, depending on staff rotation.
