We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Services Specialist to join our team at SMI IMAGING LLC. As a key member of our outpatient radiology practice, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless patient experience from registration to check-out.
Key Responsibilities- Administer patient registration, check-in, and check-out processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Verify patient insurance and demographic information, resolving any discrepancies or issues.
- Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and staff to provide excellent customer service.
- Operate various equipment and mechanical devices to maintain a safe and functional environment.
- Adhere to departmental policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance and quality standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; 0-2 years of related experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, sit for prolonged periods, and stand/walk frequently.
- Business casual or scrubs dress code.
