Job Overview:

The Quality Analyst is responsible for the analysis, administration, and oversight of established quality policies, programs, and practices. This role involves providing constructive feedback and guidance to both employees and management, leveraging professional and technical expertise in quality assurance and related processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing, completing, and processing various standard quality documentation and related information.
  • Providing insightful analysis and guidance to staff and management regarding quality policies and operational practices.
  • Addressing management and employee inquiries related to quality, while facilitating customer feedback and resource coordination.
  • Conducting ongoing analysis of operations and quality metrics to identify trends and present findings to management.
  • Ensuring the accuracy of tests, equipment, and operational data through regular audits and reviews.
  • Assisting in the development of quality project objectives, including budgets and timelines, and presenting relevant information to management.
  • Interpreting and applying departmental policies and regulations, providing guidance as necessary.
  • Enhancing departmental efficiency by contributing to team efforts and promoting a collaborative work environment.
  • Supporting Pace Analytical's mission by fostering positive interactions with customers and colleagues.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

A Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, operations, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of quality principles, practices, and techniques.
  • Familiarity with the administration of quality programs and compliance standards.
  • Ability to resolve quality-related issues and concerns.
  • Knowledge of applicable quality laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency with standard testing tools and calibration methods.
  • Competence in relevant computer applications and systems.
  • Effective communication skills for collaboration with staff and customers.
  • Strong command of business English, including grammar and punctuation.

  • Overseeing and managing diverse quality functions.
  • Training team members on relevant policies and procedures.
  • Participating as a team member in project development and management.
