Job Overview:

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Quality Analyst is tasked with overseeing and executing the analysis, administration, and management of standard quality policies, programs, and practices. This role involves providing constructive feedback and guidance to both employees and management, leveraging professional and technical expertise in quality assurance and related methodologies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Reviewing, completing, and processing various standard quality documentation, forms, databases, and associated information.
  • Delivering essential analysis, interpretation, and advice to staff, management, and functional leaders regarding quality policies and practices, facilitating standard operations and driving implementation.
  • Conducting research and providing informed decisions to address management and employee inquiries; coordinating customer feedback and resource allocation as necessary.
  • Continuously analyzing operations, results, and quality-related data to identify trends, draw conclusions, and present findings and recommendations to management.
  • Ensuring the precision of fundamental tests, equipment, procedures, and operational databases through audits and reviews, collaborating with teams to resolve discrepancies.
  • Participating in the development of quality or cross-functional project objectives, including budget proposals, timelines, and resource requirements, while presenting information to management.
  • Interpreting and applying departmental policies and procedures, while assisting with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Enhancing departmental efficiency and effectiveness by contributing suggestions and actively participating in team initiatives.
  • Supporting Pace Analytical's mission by demonstrating courteous and cooperative behavior in interactions with customers and colleagues, fostering a harmonious workplace environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience:

A Bachelor's degree in chemistry, operations, or a closely related field; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of fundamental principles, practices, and techniques of quality assurance.
  • Knowledge of the administration and oversight of quality programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Ability to resolve quality-related issues and concerns effectively.
  • Familiarity with applicable quality laws, codes, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in standard testing tools, equipment, and calibration methods.
  • Competence in relevant computer applications and systems.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with staff, coworkers, and customers.
  • Strong command of business English, including spelling, grammar, and punctuation.

Required Skills:

  • Executing professional-level quality duties across various assigned areas.
  • Administering diverse quality functions and training others in relevant policies and procedures.
  • Collaborating as a team member in project development and management.
  • Interpreting and explaining applicable laws and regulations.
  • Preparing reports, correspondence, and other written materials.

  • Demonstrating tact and discretion in professional interactions.
