Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Overview

  • Assume responsibility for the Quality Management System within designated sectors.
  • Strategize and implement inspection methodologies for operational units to enhance quality and maximize productivity.
  • This encompasses the creation and upkeep of control plans and documentation in alignment with the AIAG Advanced Product Quality Planning Reference Manual.
  • Execute capability assessments and measurement system evaluations; develop visual tools to aid in quality assessments.
  • Perform audits of operations and procedures to ensure adherence to standards and objectives.
  • Analyze and report on critical quality metrics from designated sectors.
  • Manage non-conforming materials and initiate corrective measures when products or processes deviate from established specifications.
  • Spearhead and support initiatives for continuous improvement aimed at minimizing variation and waste to acceptable levels.
  • Engage and collaborate with clients to foster positive relationships, including managing and responding to PPAP requests, corrective action inquiries, and warranty evaluations.
  • Participate in client audits and assess, interpret, and communicate client-specific requirements.
  • Utilize problem-solving strategies to swiftly identify the root causes of quality challenges and apply technical skills to provide immediate interim solutions.
  • Guide the team in implementing permanent corrective actions to address identified root causes.
  • Involve in new product development and change management processes, including associated risk assessments.
  • Assist in the creation of new and revised products, processes, and specifications to fulfill client and quality system standards and objectives.
  • Deliver necessary training as required.
  • Oversee processes to contain and avert quality issues with purchased components from affecting external clients.
  • Collaborate with and support the Supplier Quality Team.
