Job Overview:

The Quality Analyst is responsible for the analysis, management, and supervision of standard quality policies, programs, and practices. This role involves providing constructive feedback and guidance to both employees and management, utilizing essential professional and technical expertise in quality assurance and related processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and review the completion and processing of various standard quality documentation, databases, and related information.
  • Provide essential analysis and interpretation to staff and management regarding quality policies and practices, facilitating standard operations and implementation of changes.
  • Conduct research and provide feedback to resolve inquiries from management and employees, while assisting in gathering customer feedback and coordinating necessary resources.
  • Analyze operations and quality data on an ongoing basis to identify trends, draw conclusions, and present findings and recommendations to management.
  • Ensure the accuracy of tests, equipment, and operational databases through audits and reviews, collaborating with teams to address discrepancies.
  • Participate in the development of quality objectives and project requirements, including budgets and timelines, while presenting information to management.
  • Interpret and apply departmental policies and assist with compliance to relevant laws and regulations.
  • Contribute to the efficiency of departmental services by actively participating in work teams and offering constructive suggestions.
  • Support the mission of Pace Analytical by demonstrating professionalism and cooperation in interactions with customers and colleagues, fostering a positive workplace environment.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

A Bachelor's degree in chemistry, operations, or a closely related field; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of fundamental principles and techniques of quality assurance.
  • Knowledge of the administration and oversight of quality programs and policies.
  • Ability to resolve quality-related issues and concerns.
  • Familiarity with applicable quality laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency in standard testing tools and equipment.
  • Competence in relevant computer applications and systems.
  • Effective communication skills for collaboration with staff and customers.
  • Strong command of business English, including grammar and punctuation.

Required Skills:

  • Perform quality assurance duties across various assignments.
  • Administer and oversee quality functions effectively.
  • Train others on relevant policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate as a team member in project development and management.
  • Utilize independent judgment within established guidelines.
