Position Title: Automation Quality Assurance Specialist

The Automation Quality Assurance Specialist plays a vital role in crafting and executing automated testing strategies, designing and implementing test scripts, identifying software anomalies, collaborating with teams, and refining testing methodologies. This role involves working with Java, Playwright, and Cucumber for automation testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with various teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage for delivering high-quality software.
  • Document and execute automation testing based on specifications using API and UI frameworks.
  • Create, update, and execute automated test cases to fulfill business and technical requirements.
  • Analyze test outcomes and report defects, ensuring stakeholders are kept informed.
  • Adhere to agile practices to foster continuous improvement in the delivery process.
  • Implement QA and automation best practices, enhancing awareness of automation capabilities.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree or equivalent IT experience.
  • 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance automation testing.
  • Familiarity with software testing and tools such as Playwright and Selenium.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Java and Git.
  • Experience with Gherkin/Cucumber and Agile Methodology.
  • Familiarity with JIRA/Confluence and Test Management Tools.
  • Understanding of the significance of automated testing.
