Your responsibilities will encompass the oversight of our IT security systems and applications, incident response, digital forensics, loss prevention, and eDiscovery initiatives. You will conduct risk and vulnerability assessments while developing and enforcing security measures.

In this role, you will research, assess, and recommend cutting-edge security tools, methodologies, and technologies that align with our IT security strategy, integrating them into the organization.


As a Senior Cybersecurity Systems Engineer supporting our Enterprise Data Hub, you will collaborate closely with our partners to sustain and enhance a cloud-based integration and testing environment for critical Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities and exercises.

You will also serve as both the System Administrator and the program's technical lead, gaining unique exposure to various business sectors and technologies within the organization.


The Mission Solutions and Technologies (MST) division delivers cost-effective, comprehensive command/control, communications, integrated ISR, force protection, and security solutions globally.

The MST team boasts a rich history of supporting the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, and both commercial and international clients, with extensive experience in platform operations, engineering, and full lifecycle management across multiple domains – air, land, sea, space, and cyber.


Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic guidance and planning support for system integration and cloud architecture.

Lead DevSecOps initiatives in the development of testing and operational environments, including the administration of foundational architecture within each environment (e.g., web applications, LAMP stacks).


Assist the Program Management Office (PMO) and Information Security Officer (ISO) in fulfilling technical and programmatic requirements for operational environments.


Support system hardening in accordance with established security guidelines and assist with accreditation and continuous monitoring of operational environments.

Facilitate the integration of new tenants and capabilities within the testing and operational environments.

Essential Qualifications:
Ability to pass a Counterintelligence Polygraph.

Bachelor's degree in Systems Security, Network Engineering, Information Technology, or a related Engineering discipline, typically accompanied by 6 years of relevant experience.

Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.

Practical understanding of engineering principles and practices.

Experience collaborating within multi-disciplinary design and development teams.

Familiarity with and/or prior experience in multi-level security environments.

Experience as a system administrator, preferably within cloud environments.

A willingness and capability to learn new systems engineering concepts, methods, and processes.

Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of requirements management, systems design and integration, technical risk identification and management strategies, and verification and validation principles.

Experience working within cloud environments as a system administrator or software developer.

Understanding of AI/ML algorithms and methodologies.

Background with Department of Defense and Intelligence Community programs, particularly in imagery and full motion video tasking, collection, processing, exploitation, and dissemination preferred.
