About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Sales Optimization Manager to join our team at ARI (Axcel Recruiting Inc.). In this critical role, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive sales growth, improve profitability, and enhance customer satisfaction.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales management, with experience in developing and implementing trade plans, analyzing data and trends, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will work closely with our account leads to develop and execute customer shopping programs, ensure accurate forecasting, and optimize pricing strategies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing trimester trade calendars in collaboration with account leads
  • Conducting quantitative pre- and post-promotion breakeven analysis
  • Utilizing trade management tools, including Navigator, Margin Minder, and syndicated data (IRI), to understand customer performance
  • Gaining alignment on forecasts with account executives and accurately inputting into forecasting tools
  • Ensuring weekly calendars are accurate and communicated accordingly
  • Continuously adjusting Navigator plans based on customer, AE, trends, forecast accuracy, strategy/guardrail changes, and course corrections
  • Responsible for highest integrity of internal/external promotional pricing forms/Central Pricing
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, or business-related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales management, customer accounts, or relevant experience
  • Knowledge of syndicated data, such as IRI, and ability to analyze data and trends
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Navigator, and Margin Minder
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
