Job Description:

The Enterprise Sales Director role at Microsoft is a high-level position that requires strong leadership and strategic thinking. As the head of sales for the Insurance Team, you will lead an organization comprised of Sales Managers, Account Executives, and Account Technology Strategists. Your primary objective is to drive business growth by creating and fostering long-term relationships with customers, partners, and Microsoft.

You will leverage your team's expertise across the breadth of the Microsoft product portfolio to engage with senior-level customers and deliver industry-relevant solutions. With a proven track record of driving growth in market share, achieving sales targets, and customer obsession, this role demands extensive customer network experience.

  • Leading and Transforming the Business:
    • Strategic Direction: Align business within the segment and drive strategic direction across teams to enable revenue growth.
    • Customer Value Realization: Define ongoing and long-term customer value realization and satisfaction strategies contributing to net-new revenue and business growth.
    • Go-to-Market Sales Strategy: Develop and drive go-to-market sales strategy and execution to ensure success within their market.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's Degree: Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, AND 6+ years of experience in sales, marketing/advertising, managing high-performance sales teams, and/or leadership roles in multi-tiered large organizations.
  2. Master's Degree: Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, AND 5+ years of experience in sales, marketing/advertising, managing high-performance sales teams, and/or leadership roles in multi-tiered large organizations.
  3. OR Equivalent Experience: Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  4. People Management Experience: 2+ years direct/formal, indirect/informal, and/or project team people management experience.
Additional Qualifications:

Salary Range: $130,000 - $217,600 per year (USD), with higher ranges applicable to specific work locations such as San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metropolitan area ($168,600 - $237,500 per year).
