Cardiovascular Unit Registered Nurse Job

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Unit team at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will provide exceptional patient care and contribute to the success of our team.

About the Role

This is a full-time position working nights, with a commitment-incentive bonus and opportunities for professional growth and development. You will work in a 12-bed unit, caring for post STEMI patients, post Cardiac Cath care, and other cardiovascular conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care, utilizing specialized plan-of-care intervention and serving as a patient-care innovator.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Utilize critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

Requirements
  • A current state RN license.
  • An associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • NIHSS Certification.
