About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Unit team at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. As a Cardiovascular Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the well-being of our community.

Responsibilities
  • Provide specialized care to post STEMI patients, post Cardiac Cath care, and post vascular procedure patients.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Utilize critical thinking skills and decisive judgment to make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care delivery.

Requirements
  • A current state RN license.
  • An associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • NIHSS Certification.
  • Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
