Cardiovascular Unit Registered Nurse Job

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Unit team at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will provide exceptional patient care and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

About the Role

This is a full-time position working nights, with a commitment-incentive bonus and opportunities for professional growth and development. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care and support the hospital's mission to make communities healthier.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care and develop individualized plans of care
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current state RN license
  • An associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school
  • Current American Heart Association BLS certification
  • Current American Heart Association ACLS certification
  • NIHSS Certification
  • Critical thinking skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision
