We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Unit team at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will provide exceptional patient care and contribute to the success of our team.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position working nights, with a commitment-incentive bonus and opportunities for professional growth and development. You will work in a 12-bed unit, caring for post STEMI patients, post Cardiac Cath care, and other cardiovascular-related cases.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care, utilizing specialized plan-of-care intervention and serving as a patient-care innovator.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and outcomes.
- Participate in self-scheduling for staffing and contribute to the success of the unit.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current state RN license.
- An associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school.
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification or obtain within 90 days after hire date.
- Current American Heart Association ACLS certification or obtain within 6 months after hire date.
- Successfully pass an arrhythmia exam within 90 days after hire date.
- NIHSS Certification obtained within 90 days after hire date.
