Cardiovascular Unit Registered Nurse Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Unit team at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will provide exceptional patient care and contribute to a collaborative and dynamic healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to patients with cardiovascular conditions, including post STEMI patients, post Cardiac Cath care, and post bariatric surgery patients.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Utilize critical thinking skills and decisive judgment to make sound clinical decisions.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.

Requirements:
  • A current state RN license.
  • An associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS certification or obtain within 90 days after hire date.
  • Current American Heart Association ACLS certification or obtain within 6 months after hire date.
  • Successfully pass an arrhythmia exam within 90 days after hire date.
  • NIHSS Certification obtained within 90 days after hire date.
