About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cardiovascular Unit team at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. As a RN on our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented group of healthcare professionals who are dedicated to providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care to patients with cardiovascular conditions
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs and respond to changes in patient condition
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in cardiovascular care

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A current state RN license
  • An associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school
  • Current American Heart Association BLS certification or obtain within 90 days after hire date
  • Current American Heart Association ACLS certification or obtain within 6 months after hire date
  • Successfully pass an arrhythmia exam within 90 days after hire date
  • NIHSS Certification obtained within 90 days after hire date
