Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN), Cardiovascular Unit

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cardiovascular Unit team at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. As a RN in this role, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to patients with cardiovascular conditions, including post-STEMI patients, post-cardiac catheterization patients, and patients undergoing vascular procedures.
  • Assess patient needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient progress.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including documentation of patient care and treatment plans.
Requirements:
  • Current state RN license.
  • Associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS certification or obtain within 90 days after hire date.
  • Current American Heart Association ACLS certification or obtain within 6 months after hire date.
  • Successfully pass an arrhythmia exam within 90 days after hire date.
  • NIHSS Certification obtained within 90 days after hire date.
