ROLE SUMMARY:

The Regional Account Manager for Personal Lines is crucial in assisting clients in the Central and Northern California region, overseeing an insurance portfolio that generates over $225,000 in revenue. Operating with a significant degree of autonomy and discretion, the Account Manager fosters positive and productive relationships with sales and account team members.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with Producers, if assigned, to serve as the primary client liaison for HUB
  • Deliver professional and courteous service to clients, carrier representatives, underwriters, and colleagues to ensure high account retention rates
  • Manage account rounding and pursue new business opportunities in accordance with established practices
  • Oversee all account transactions, documentation, and internal processes
  • Comprehend clients' business and insurance goals to effectively assess insurance plans
  • Act as a mediator between clients and insurance carriers, resolving complex service issues
  • Address claims and billing inquiries
  • Focus on retaining accounts and generating new business from existing clients
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities and contribute to departmental objectives
  • Maintain accurate account records and documentation
  • Prepare annual review reports and conduct client meetings for insurance program evaluations
  • Provide necessary reports to management
  • Support and mentor less experienced team members
  • Stay informed on industry developments and client needs to make appropriate recommendations
  • Participate in industry-related training to enhance knowledge
  • Perform additional duties as required

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma/GED required (college degree preferred)
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant personal lines experience in a brokerage environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively at all levels
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook
  • Well-organized with exceptional communication skills
