Job Title: Cost Management Director

Turner & Townsend is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cost Management Director to lead our Pacific North West Construction Cost Management Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving growth across the region and ensuring the delivery of high-quality cost management services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop the existing Turner & Townsend team, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of exceptional results.
  • Take on key account roles, project execution assurance, and maintain client relationships to drive business growth and development.
  • Deliver assurance services to projects, including peer review, gateway review, maturity assessments, readiness reviews, progress and performance audits.
  • Periodically take on major program delivery set up roles and develop and lead the Turner & Townsend teams to achieve successful delivery and transition.
  • Provide oversight and assurance to the Turner & Townsend major programs in the region.
  • Identify organizational needs, develop role specifications, and build and execute recruitment plans and strategies.
  • Extensive experience in delivering cost management programs and projects, with a strong focus on business development and growth.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10+ years of relevant working experience in the cost management discipline.
  • Experience working within the North American markets and particularly within large metropolitan areas.
  • Experience in the Semiconductor Manufacturing sector and knowledge of local markets is preferred.
  • Degree holder in Quantity Surveying, or a related field (Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, etc.).
  • Professional Qualification: RICS qualified (MRICS), AACEI, CMAA and/or PMP.
  • Must have proven experience in Business Development/Generation.
  • Proactive, quality-driven, self-motivated, and hands-on team-leader with the ability to multitask.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills essential, ability to communicate well with the team, clients, and senior management.
  • Experience in leading teams of professionals with a strength in growing, mentoring, and developing people.
