Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve beverages and light meals to guests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, including the bar area and surrounding spaces.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including those related to food safety and handling.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with other staff members to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Minimum one year of experience in the food and beverage industry.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, including safety procedures and operating instructions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and colleagues.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
  • ServSafe and/or food safety training a plus.
  • Alcohol awareness training (such as TIPS) a plus.
  • Familiarity with food and beverage cost controls a plus.
  • Ability to accurately compute basic mathematical calculations.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

The Inn at Bellefield is a picturesque property located in the heart of New York's Hudson River Valley, directly across from the Culinary Institute of America. Our hotel features 137 guest suites with fully equipped kitchens and an ample seating area, as well as an outdoor patio with a firepit and an extensive fitness center. We offer a unique and flexible gathering space for corporate and social events, and are conveniently located less than 90 minutes from New York City.
