Overview:

The Event Operations Manager will be responsible for providing strategic leadership to designated segments, fostering new business opportunities, and cultivating relationships with relevant associations, key industry stakeholders, and potential sponsors.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Establishing and nurturing relationships with essential associations within applicable sectors, along with other significant industry connections, groups, influencers, and partners.
  • Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of industry trends, growth opportunities, and pertinent issues.
  • Collaborating with the marketing team to engage current attendees and attract new visitors to the Clubhouse area.
  • Partnering with marketing and operations teams to enhance segment branding, layout, and overall aesthetic.
  • Working alongside the Sales Director to stimulate new exhibitor growth, prospecting together to create fresh sponsorships and develop additional revenue streams.
  • Identifying, implementing, and curating innovative special events and programming for the Clubhouse area, including stage content, demonstrations, and various educational and experiential activities.

Qualifications:
  • Experience and enthusiasm for the golf, tennis, racquet sports, and/or fitness sectors.
  • Proficient knowledge and experience in trade show management.
  • Ability to develop and analyze budgets, marketing strategies, and business plans.
  • Capable of working collaboratively across various teams.
  • Prior experience in account management, sales, or related fields.
  • High energy, positive outlook, resourcefulness, and exceptional relationship-building skills are essential. Adaptability to change is crucial. Extensive travel may be required.
