Position Overview

Front Desk Supervisor

As a vital component of our hospitality team, the Front Desk Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the front office, ensuring exceptional service delivery and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and mentor front office staff, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Manage front desk operations, including guest check-ins and check-outs, while maintaining high standards of service.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.
  • Address and resolve guest inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly reports related to front office operations and assist in budget preparation.
  • Conduct regular training sessions to enhance team performance and service quality.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures, particularly regarding cash handling and guest interactions.
  • Monitor room status and occupancy levels, adjusting strategies to optimize revenue.
  • Maintain an organized filing system for operational documentation and reports.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of service standards.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a combination of education and experience that demonstrates their ability to fulfill the responsibilities of this role.

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience in hospitality management.
  • Minimum of two years of supervisory experience in a customer-focused environment.
