Overview:


The Guest Services Attendant plays a vital role in ensuring that guests feel welcomed and valued throughout their stay. This position involves assisting guests with their luggage during arrival and departure, as well as providing support and information to enhance their experience.


Responsibilities:
1. Load and unload luggage carts efficiently.
2. Organize and deliver luggage for group arrivals.
3. Escort guests to their rooms, highlighting hotel amenities.
4. Inspect guest accommodations to ensure readiness and adequate supplies.
5. Explain room features, including electronic devices and entertainment options.
6. Manage luggage check-in and storage with appropriate tagging.
7. Handle packages and deliveries as required.
8. Deliver messages and amenities to guest rooms.
9. Assist with room changes as needed.
10. Maintain an updated list of local attractions and events.
11. Provide information on transportation options and local services.
12. Support the Housekeeping team with guest requests.
13. Ensure the accuracy of lobby information displays.
14. Offer maps and directions to guests upon request.
15. Assist front desk agents as necessary.
16. Conduct tours of guest rooms and suites when required.
17. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:
A High School diploma or equivalent is required, with experience in hospitality preferred.
A valid driver's license is necessary for applicable roles.

Physical requirements include the ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, 50 pounds frequently, and 20 pounds constantly to move objects. Candidates must be able to stand for the duration of their shift.

Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with the ability to listen and address concerns raised by guests and staff. Confidentiality of information must be maintained at all times.
