Inside Sales and Marketing Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Inside Sales and Marketing Associate to join our team at Scale Microgrid Solutions. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building a robust sales pipeline for microgrid projects, identifying and qualifying new leads, and spearheading top-of-the-funnel sales and marketing activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement outbound marketing strategies to drive lead generation and acquisition.
  • Research industry and customer profiles to identify addressable markets and create targeted outreach.
  • Craft compelling email campaigns to demonstrate the value proposition of our microgrid solutions.
  • Synthesize information from marketing and business development teams to create effective messaging for prospective customers.
  • Understand customer needs and identify sales opportunities.
  • Conduct outbound calls to establish initial meetings and nurture relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Assess opportunities for improvement and demonstrate adaptability and a willingness to learn.
  • Stay informed about competing products and services.
  • Represent Scale's core values at conferences and events.
Requirements:
  • 1+ year of prior sales and/or marketing work experience or relevant internships.
  • Experience with prospecting platforms and CRM systems, such as Hubspot, Salesforce, and Zoom Info.
  • Working knowledge of the distributed energy landscape or a desire to learn quickly and continuously expand.
  • Motivated by achieving measurable results and exceeding sales targets.
  • Maintain a self-starter attitude and creative mindset.
  • Experience with public speaking or in a previous sales-related role.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a productive team member.
  • Ability to travel domestically (10-15%).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and comfort with ambiguity.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
