Job Summary

Ferrovial is seeking a highly skilled Project Utility Manager to join our team. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for the coordination and management of dry utility relocations for our projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the coordination of dry utility relocations, ensuring that the utility adjustment process meets the requirements of the Design, Build, and Finance Agreement.
  • Ensure that utility conflicts are resolved as mutually agreed by all parties, and avoid conflict with construction activities and the project schedule.
  • Attend and lead utility coordination meetings, serving as a liaison between Utility Owners, utility relocation coordination consultants, and the Georgia Department of Transportation.
  • Establish, coordinate, and update the utilities design schedules and sequence of utilities work schedules.
  • Manage utility coordination with Utility Owners, production of the Utility Assemblies, and utility adjustment construction.
  • Produce written reports on the status of all elements of the utility adjustment process.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines (e.g. Project controls, design, construction, public relations, financial services, environmental) to ensure the necessary level and degree of integration with those units and the Utility Adjustment Work.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent is required.
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in coordinating Utility Adjustments on projects of similar complexity, size, and scope is required.
  • 5 to 10 years of highway, bridge, road, or runway experience as a Project Manager or Sr. Project Manager is preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills are preferred.
  • Experience managing a budget is required.
