About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Technician to join our team at Vector Security and Vector Security Networks. As a Senior Systems Technician, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining complex residential and commercial security solutions, including wired and wireless systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and configure security systems, including residential and commercial security, fire alarm systems, and access control systems.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to our clients.
  • Participate in company initiatives to secure referrals and upsell services.
  • Mentor junior technicians and share technical knowledge to improve individual and branch capabilities.
  • Stay up-to-date with new products and solutions, and provide training to colleagues as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of field experience or equivalent technical education or certification.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with life safety and home automation equipment.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving history.
  • Advanced knowledge and experience with hand and power tools.
  • Strong technical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Ability to engage with others through active listening and communication.
