Position Summary:

The Senior Business Analyst will play a crucial role in assisting the ITS Grants Management team with the migration from the Grants Gateway to New York's Statewide Financial System (SFS). This position involves the transition of existing grants operations from the Grants Gateway into the SFS, ensuring that the SFS grants configuration meets the requirements of New York State's Grant Making processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough analysis of business domains and document processes and systems.
  • Evaluate the business model and its integration with technology, delivering distinct solutions.
  • Facilitate requirements gathering and business analysis, producing comprehensive documentation.
  • Support the migration of legacy data into an enterprise COTS solution while analyzing integrated dependent systems.
Qualifications:

Experience:
- 60 months of experience in requirements gathering and business analysis, with a strong emphasis on documentation.

- 12 months of experience as a state employee or consultant, focusing on Business Analysis within state enterprise or agency-specific grants or financial management systems.

- 36 months of experience in identifying data quality issues, establishing data validation rules, and managing data migration efforts.

- 24 months of experience in analyzing the migration of legacy data into COTS solutions.

Additional Information:

Compensation: $50/hour or C2C
