The Salesforce Cloud Solutions Administrator plays a pivotal role in our technical teams at Omni Inclusive. This position is essential for executing tasks that require administrative expertise, including troubleshooting, enhancements, support, and new configurations. This role is ideal for individuals aiming to delve into the cloud computing sector while contributing to innovative cloud adoption initiatives for esteemed clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the main system administrator for the Salesforce environment, particularly for the Production instance.
- Serve as the primary liaison for the Salesforce Customer Success team, overseeing and driving action plans for production organization performance and health metrics.
- Oversee security protocols in production and full sandboxes to meet the organization's security and compliance standards, including enabling and monitoring SSO and BYOK, conducting access reviews, and implementing additional security measures as needed.
- Investigate and evaluate new platform-specific features during Salesforce product release upgrades.
- Manage the installation of AppExchange applications in Production and full Sandboxes.
- Handle storage management, system clean-up, and data archiving tasks.
- Develop and maintain technical guidelines and documentation at the platform level, including a metadata dictionary.
- Assist in analyzing Salesforce license utilization and cost optimization strategies.
- Support DevOps in establishing business continuity plans and implementing system backup and recovery processes.
- Collaborate with DevOps on release deployment processes and sandbox management.
- Help troubleshoot issues related to the Salesforce platform, focusing on security, performance, access, and user administration, particularly for users with elevated access.
- Coordinate with other Administrators and Developers to enhance the Salesforce skill set throughout the organization.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in administering or supporting Salesforce cloud environments.
- Proven knowledge of Salesforce platform-specific administration, security models, metadata management, Salesforce DX, and related tools.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong relationship-building and facilitation skills within diverse engineering and global cross-functional teams.
- Results-oriented achiever with creative problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills who can foster collaboration.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills across all organizational levels.
- Required: BS/BA degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Preferred: Salesforce Administrator certification, Platform Developer, or App Builder Certification.
- This is an onsite position requiring travel to the office for 3 days a week.
- Please note that this role is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship.
