Position Overview: This role is primarily focused on delivering specialized expertise and operational support to the Human Capital department. The incumbent will ensure adherence to a comprehensive array of applicable laws, regulations, and company policies, serving as the primary contact for Recruiting and Talent Operations while also addressing other departmental requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment
  • Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle by overseeing the presentation, selection, offer, negotiation, closing, and administrative tasks associated with the hiring process using the Dayforce HRIS/ATS platform.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and Human Capital team members to proactively assess workforce needs, ensuring a thorough understanding of departmental operations and job specifications.
  • Formulate and implement recruitment strategies for various roles, including conducting preliminary research, sourcing, and identifying qualified candidates, as well as assisting with offer preparation and onboarding activities.
  • Design interview and selection processes that minimize bias and ensure a diverse pool of candidates for open positions.
  • Screen candidates based on job requirements, advancing suitable applicants through the selection process to hiring managers and interview stages.
  • Build relationships with external talent using various sourcing tools (LinkedIn, Indeed, social media, etc.) to establish a strong candidate pipeline for Bank positions.
  • Work with managers and employees to enhance awareness and improve the candidate referral process.
  • Provide candidates with insights about Bank compensation, benefits, and culture, while proactively planning candidate interactions throughout the recruitment journey.
  • Collaborate with Human Capital and managers to create and maintain job descriptions that accurately reflect the competencies, knowledge, skills, and experience required for each role.
  • Monitor talent acquisition metrics and trends, providing insights and recommendations for improvement based on data analysis.
  • Review hiring and compensation offers against established pay scales and ensure alignment with company standards.
  • Continuously evaluate the Bank's recruitment, hiring, and onboarding processes, seeking input from various stakeholders to identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Coordinate with the Human Capital Team and/or BSB Impact/Marketing teams to develop and implement recruitment marketing strategies.
  • Manage relationships with third-party recruiting firms and temporary employment agencies to ensure that Bank needs are met while adhering to contract terms.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations and company policies.
  • Effectively communicate the Beneficial State Bank employer brand to prospective candidates, emphasizing our mission and vision.
HRIS/HCM
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert for Recruiting and Onboarding modules of HRIS, ensuring colleagues are informed about system updates and enhancements.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements in Recruiting and Onboarding, assisting with system configuration and testing.
  • Address system defects and integration issues for assigned areas.
  • Maintain data integrity standards through regular audits and preventative controls.
  • Develop strong relationships with vendors and IT to resolve system issues.
Other Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Learning & Development Program Manager to create training materials related to Recruiting and Onboarding.
  • Provide backup support for other Human Capital and HRIS functions.
  • Complete mandatory compliance training as required.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • 3 years of experience in recruitment operations with a minimum of 10 concurrent requisitions in a web-based ATS.
  • Experience in a multi-site or multi-state environment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3 years of experience managing a minimum of 20 concurrent requisitions in CA/OR/WA.
  • 2 years of experience in Dayforce HRIS/HCM for Recruiting and Onboarding.
  • Experience with multiple ATS systems and process design.
  • HRIS administration experience beyond Recruiting & Onboarding.
  • Additional years of experience in Human Resources with knowledge of employment law.
  • Formal education or certification in Human Resources or related fields.
  • Experience in Business Process Improvement and Change Management.
Compensation Overview
The compensation range reflects our good faith belief regarding the pay for this role, which may vary based on geography and individual qualifications. Starting pay typically ranges from the lower end of the scale to approximately 25% of the maximum, with more experienced candidates potentially starting near the midpoint.
