We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team at the California Teaching Fellows Foundation. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will be responsible for assisting with the recruitment and hiring process, working closely with site liaisons and site leads to identify and attract top talent.
Key Responsibilities- Recruitment and Hiring: Assist the Talent Acquisition Manager with the overall recruitment and hiring process, including searching for qualified candidates, reviewing employment applications, and conducting interviews.
- Clerical and Department Administrative Duties: Prepare and maintain applicant reports, review personnel documentation, and ensure compliance with company standards.
- Professional Development: Stay up-to-date on current pre-employment trends, employment labor relations, and recruitment resources, and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned, including attending staff meetings, providing assistance with human resources management systems, and demonstrating flexibility and understanding.
- Education: Minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience: 2-3 years of relevant experience in human resources management, recruitment, sourcing, and/or the pre-employment process.
- Skills: Knowledgeable of the principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, labor relations, and personnel information systems; proficient in Google Suite (Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms); and fluent in the English language.
- Qualifications: Possess skills in working with a personal computer, including the use of Google Suite; be able to establish and maintain strong interpersonal relationships among office staff, industry partners, and management; and possess a high degree of trustworthiness, confidentiality, and respect.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Skills: Be able to work and communicate effectively with supervisors, peers, or subordinates; files and records, designing forms, creating systems and processes, and other related office procedures.
- Qualifications: Maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing materials and entering information; possess strong skills in identifying the qualifications, skills, knowledge, and abilities of potential job candidates using an interactive interview process; and possess skills in active listening, writing, organization, analytical, problem-solving, stress, and time management.
