**About the Role**
Matrix Technologies, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer - HVAC Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing HVAC systems in new and existing buildings.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Contribute to the design and development of HVAC systems, including load calculations, energy modeling, and system optimization.
- Work closely with clients, vendors, and contractors to ensure successful project execution.
- Perform site surveys, equipment inspections, and system analysis to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain technical reports, specifications, and drawings.
- Collaborate with project managers to create proposals, manage budgets, and meet project deadlines.
**Requirements**
- Active Professional Engineering License.
- 6+ years of experience in HVAC design consulting, with a focus on commercial or industrial projects.
- Strong knowledge of ASHRAE codes and industry standards.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience in team management and client relations.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
