This role involves assisting the Project Manager with various project-related functions, including planning and coordinating onsite construction activities to ensure project objectives are met within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting the Project Manager in developing and nurturing client relationships
- Coordinating purchasing, procurement, subcontracts, and project schedules
- Monitoring and controlling project construction through administrative direction of on-site superintendents and other field and office personnel
- Responsible for profit management of assigned projects
- Fostering effective relationships with project teams, clients, vendors, and subcontractors
- Reviewing and processing submittals
- Managing subcontractor proposal requests, scope reviews, and issuing subcontracts
- Participating in monitoring schedule of field and subcontractor progress
- Issuing large purchase orders
- Assisting in coordinating safety programs and overseeing job site safety reviews
- Coordinating all job correspondence
- Identifying opportunities for future projects and networking internally and externally to pursue such opportunities
- Responsible for project closeouts
- Responsible for reinforcing the company's core values in how the project work is performed
Requirements include:
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Science Management, Architectural Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering preferred
- Equivalent technical training and related experience will be considered
- Minimum of 4 to 6 years' technical or administrative experience in HVAC, piping, and plumbing at a commercial, industrial, or institutional level
Benefits and compensation include:
- The range for this position has been established at $75,760 to $107,011 per year
- Year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance
