Job Summary:
Wunderlich-Malec is seeking an Associate Controls Engineer to join our team in Golden, CO. The successful candidate will be responsible for controls engineering projects involving PLC/SCADA/HMI programming, electrical and instrumentation, check out support and start-up assistance.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement control system logic software and hardware to meet process, machine, and integrated system requirements.
Develop control logic software and user interface applications.
Develop schematics detailing control system configuration and wiring, and design equipment panel layouts on AutoCAD software.
Assist with initial start-up and debug integrated systems and the development of system documentation.
Work on automation and control system integration projects for clients in industries such as pharma/biotech, water/wastewater, data centers, etc.

Requirements:
BS Electrical Engineering, BS Chemical Engineering, BS Mechanical Engineering, or BS Computer Engineering is preferred. An AA in Engineering Technology or equivalent with equivalent experience may be substituted.
New graduate with an interest in pursuing a career in Controls Engineering.
Preference given to, but not required, candidates with an understanding of or exposure to control systems - components, ladder logic programming, SCADA programming and their applications.
Experience with AutoCAD is also desired, but not required.

Working Environment:
Standard office environment, On-site office environment, and diverse industrial environments
Frequent PC usage, fax machines, copy machines, phones.
