Job Summary:

The Electrician II will be responsible for leading and performing electrical duties, including installation, preventative maintenance, and code compliance for a specific client.

This position requires adherence to all Federal, State, and Local laws.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and perform electrical duties, including installation, preventative maintenance, and code compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to all Federal, State, and Local laws.
  • Remove and replace motors, starters, relays, limit switches, fuses, and primary control components.
  • Use electronic systems, including ladder logic, diagrams, and schematics.
  • Make new installation wiring hook-ups and upgrade present equipment.
  • Perform mid-level mechanical operations, repair, and maintenance to building systems.
  • Interpret and understand Federal, State, and local code ordinances.

Requirements:

  • Electrical Certification or License.
  • Three (3) plus years of experience as an Electrician Apprentice and/or a combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, understand, follow, and communicate instructions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Basic computer skills, including internet, email, electronic manual, etc.
  • Ability to learn additional programs quickly.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Six (6+) plus years' experience as an electrician.
  • Prior work experience in a commercial setting.
