Job Title: Sales Manager

ASM Global, a leading provider of public assembly facilities, is seeking a highly skilled Sales Manager to join our team at the Oklahoma City Convention Center.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a results-driven Sales Manager to oversee and coordinate all aspects of the sales process for future conventions, trade shows, and corporate events. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of sales strategies, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to solicit national, state, and local convention, tradeshow, and event business.
  • Meet and exceed sales projections, schedules, and timelines.
  • Coordinate promotional activities for event bookings, including participation in industry trade shows and sales missions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, event planners, and other stakeholders.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations, negotiate contracts, and manage client databases.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and competitor activity.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Event Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Two years of related experience in hotel or venue sales, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
