About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Account Executive to join our Data Solutions team in Houston or Dallas, TX. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for managing the overall relationship and communication with key clients, developing and executing the entire end-to-end selling process, and driving additional new business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the overall relationship and communication with key clients, including understanding their business model, application landscape, and how Perficient solutions deliver value.
  • Develop and execute the entire end-to-end selling process, working closely with the Perficient delivery team to qualify opportunities, gather requirements, define project scope, estimate effort, develop proposals, create SOWs, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
  • Develop and manage key relationships with Data Solutions clients and Partner Alliance personnel to drive additional new business and provide proper communication on account activity.
  • Lead and manage customer engagement opportunities from lead generation to deal review, negotiations, and closing a deal.
  • Ability to travel to client sites as needed (up to 50% travel).
Requirements
  • 4-7+ years of services sales or professional consulting experience.
  • A proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue objectives in complex solutions environments at Fortune 500 clients.
  • Knowledge of/experience with structured sales methodologies, such as Strategic Selling, Solution Selling, SPIN, Power based Selling, Target Account Selling.
  • Able to partner with clients to understand their organizational needs and recommend solutions that add value to their business.
  • Strong verbal, written communication, and listening skills; strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent collaboration and team-building skills.
