Job Summary:

Forest River, Inc is seeking a highly skilled PC Support Specialist to join our team. As a PC Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our employees, ensuring that their computer systems are running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide initial front-line support and service desk tickets for assigned locations.
  • Set up and configure new personal computers, including loading base images and local setup.
  • Install special software requiring administrative access, such as Adobe and AutoCAD.
  • Set up and configure new or existing printers, and adjust print server settings.
  • Assist with setting up and maintaining Active Directory accounts.
  • Assist with setting up and maintaining Exchange mailboxes.
  • Collect and dispose of decommissioned equipment.
  • Install and support local networking gear, including switches and firewalls.
  • Collaborate with the VP of IT and Security & System Administrators on special IT projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred).
  • Ability to work with end-users in an office environment.
  • Experience with Microsoft operating systems, such as Windows 10 and Windows 11.
  • Basic understanding of MS networking and Active Directory.
  • Knowledge of Citrix Terminal Server (beneficial but not required).
  • Additional MS certifications (beneficial but not required).
  • Dependable transportation (business-related mileage paid).
  • Smartphone for department communications (required and paid).
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
