  • Hardware Configuration: Set up and configure new personal computers, including loading base 'Image' and local setup, to ensure seamless integration with our network infrastructure.
  • Software Installation: Install special software requiring Admin Access, such as Adobe, AutoCAD, and UPS, to support our business operations.
  • Print Services: Set up and configure new/existing printers and adjust Print server settings to ensure efficient printing capabilities.
  • Active Directory Management: Assist with the setup and maintenance of Active Directory accounts to ensure secure and reliable access to company resources.
  • Exchange Mailbox Support: Assist with the setup and maintenance of Exchange mailboxes to ensure seamless email communication.
  • Equipment Disposal: Collect and dispose of decommissioned equipment in an environmentally responsible manner.
  • Network Support: Install and support local networking gear, including switches and firewalls, to ensure reliable and secure network connectivity.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with the VP of IT, Security, and System Administrators on special IT projects to drive business growth and innovation.
  • Additional Duties: Handle any other duties as assigned by management to ensure the smooth operation of our IT department.

Requirements:

  • Education: Associate's degree in Computer Science (or related field) is preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to work with end-users in an office environment, providing clear and concise technical support.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with Microsoft Operating systems (e.g., Windows 10, Windows 11, etc.) is required, as well as a basic understanding of MS Networking and Active Directory.
  • Additional Certifications: Knowledge of Citrix Terminal server is beneficial but not required, and additional Microsoft Certifications are also beneficial.
  • Reliability: Must have dependable transportation for business-related travel and a smartphone for Department communications, which will be provided.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without accommodation.
