Position Summary:

We are in search of a skilled Billing Manager to take charge of our billing operations. This pivotal role is essential for ensuring that our billing processes are streamlined, precise, and in line with our goal of making healthcare more accessible. The Billing Manager will play a crucial role in our financial operations, managing revenue cycle processes and ensuring adherence to industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the complete billing process, ensuring accurate claim submissions, prompt handling of resubmissions and denials, and efficient payment processing.
  • Analyze revenue cycle metrics to pinpoint areas for enhancement and implement necessary improvements.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure the seamless integration of billing systems with organizational software.
  • Facilitate regular team meetings to review performance metrics, tackle challenges, and acknowledge achievements.
  • Maintain open communication with patients, addressing billing inquiries and enhancing their overall experience.
  • Work alongside leadership to align billing operations with financial goals.
  • Provide continuous training and support to the billing team, fostering a culture of ongoing improvement.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with insurance providers to ensure timely claim payments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in medical billing and revenue cycle management, ideally within telehealth.
  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare billing regulations, insurance protocols, and coding standards.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience in managing and developing teams in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and detail-oriented skills, coupled with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centric service.
  • Familiarity with EMR and RCM software, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and a willingness to learn new technologies.
  • A commitment to excellence and innovation in healthcare billing operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in building and managing remote teams.
  • Certification in medical billing and coding.
