About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Operations Manager to join our team at Remington. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily culinary operations of our hotel, ensuring that our guests receive an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Production: Participate in the production of all food items necessary for hotel operations, ensuring that high-quality dishes are prepared and presented to our guests.
  • Team Supervision: Train and supervise kitchen staff in the proper preparation of menu items, equipment, and safety measures, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure that all necessary ingredients are stocked for service, maintaining a high level of food quality and minimizing waste.
  • Process Optimization: Streamline kitchen processes to maintain prompt service times, ensuring that our guests receive their meals in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Menu Development: Collaborate with our Chef and Sous Chef to develop and maintain our restaurant menu, ensuring that it meets the highest standards of quality and creativity.
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Set and maintain high standards for kitchen cleanliness and sanitation, ensuring that our kitchen meets the highest standards of health and safety.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with our Chef and Sous Chef to ensure that all kitchen operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Requirements
  • Culinary Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of success in culinary operations.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of kitchen staff.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with our Chef and Sous Chef to ensure that all kitchen operations run smoothly.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, days, afternoons, and evenings, as required.
