The Guest Services Coordinator is responsible for welcoming patrons, managing phone inquiries, addressing guest requests, and providing support to the service team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests while ensuring a balanced seating arrangement in the dining area.
  • Manage phone calls with professionalism and assist guests without redirecting their inquiries.
  • Process reservation requests accurately, suggest alternative seating options during peak times, and provide information about the venue and menu.
  • Conduct pre-opening checks of the dining area and perform inspections before and after service periods.
  • Create and maintain side work lists and station charts for the service team.
  • Document guest feedback in the logbook and communicate important comments to management.
  • Address maintenance needs as they arise and conduct cleanliness inspections as instructed.
  • Understand and comply with safety regulations and emergency procedures.
  • Follow all operational standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Express gratitude to guests upon their departure.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing and paperwork as required.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized workstation.
  • Ensure menus are clean and presentable after each use.
  • Inform management of any guest feedback or concerns.
  • Arrive for shifts in a well-groomed and professional manner as per company guidelines.
  • Adhere to scheduled shifts punctually.
  • Comply with all policies and procedures related to the Food and Beverage Department.
  • Be knowledgeable about safety protocols and assist in emergency situations as directed.
  • Complete assigned tasks and collaborate with other departments as needed based on business demands.
