Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests while ensuring a balanced seating arrangement in the dining area.
- Manage phone calls with professionalism and assist guests without redirecting their inquiries.
- Process reservation requests accurately, suggest alternative seating options during peak times, and provide information about the venue and menu.
- Conduct pre-opening checks of the dining area and perform inspections before and after service periods.
- Create and maintain side work lists and station charts for the service team.
- Document guest feedback in the logbook and communicate important comments to management.
- Address maintenance needs as they arise and conduct cleanliness inspections as instructed.
- Understand and comply with safety regulations and emergency procedures.
- Follow all operational standards, policies, and procedures.
- Express gratitude to guests upon their departure.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing and paperwork as required.
- Maintain a tidy and organized workstation.
- Ensure menus are clean and presentable after each use.
- Inform management of any guest feedback or concerns.
- Arrive for shifts in a well-groomed and professional manner as per company guidelines.
- Adhere to scheduled shifts punctually.
- Comply with all policies and procedures related to the Food and Beverage Department.
- Be knowledgeable about safety protocols and assist in emergency situations as directed.
- Complete assigned tasks and collaborate with other departments as needed based on business demands.
