The Guest Services Coordinator is responsible for greeting and registering visitors, processing billing, and ensuring a seamless experience for departing guests. This role involves effective communication with housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services to address and fulfill guest needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival and allocate accommodations
- Provide detailed information regarding the hotel, room availability, pricing, and amenities
- Address guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Manage room assignments for incoming guests, handle same-day bookings, pre-register guests as necessary, and occasionally escort guests to their accommodations
- Collaborate with housekeeping to guarantee that all rooms are clean, organized, and well-equipped to meet guest expectations
- Process payments and facilitate the check-out process for hotel guests
- Work in tandem with guest services personnel to ensure efficient handling of guest luggage during check-in and check-out
- Adhere to baggage tagging and ski storage protocols
- Deliver messages, packages, or other items to guest rooms or designated areas promptly
- Uphold a high standard of cleanliness in the lobby and luggage storage area
- Create personalized baskets or special amenities for distinguished guests
- Manage reservations, modifications, and cancellations
- Recommend dining options and activities to guests
- Handle cash transactions, post charges, reconcile daily transactions, and prepare deposits
- Interact with guests and colleagues in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner
- Perform additional duties as assigned
