- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of property and equipment to ensure adherence to federal regulations and organizational standards.
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of assets from acquisition to disposal, ensuring precise inventory management and asset control.
- Design and implement property management frameworks, policies, and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and accountability.
- Collaborate with various departments to assess property and equipment requirements and propose effective procurement strategies.
- Execute physical inventories and reconciliations to confirm record accuracy and address discrepancies.
- Generate and deliver reports on property and equipment status, usage, and anticipated needs to senior leadership.
- Guarantee the security and protection of sensitive and classified equipment in line with governmental and organizational policies.
- Analyze property and equipment management processes to pinpoint improvement opportunities and efficiency enhancements.
- Engage with procurement and finance teams to optimize asset acquisition and lifecycle management.
- Create training resources and facilitate sessions for personnel on best practices and compliance in property and equipment management.
- Work alongside IT and security teams to maintain the integrity and security of equipment management systems and sensitive assets.
- Participate in audits and inspections related to property and equipment, ensuring compliance with both internal and external standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in property and equipment management, ideally within a government or defense context.
- Strong understanding of federal property management regulations and guidelines.
- Proficient in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to teamwork.
- Active Top Secret clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility.
- Certified Professional Property Manager (CPPM) or equivalent.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is advantageous.
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is essential. Advanced degrees or certifications in property management, logistics, or related areas are preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in property and equipment management roles, focusing on government or defense sectors.
