About the Role

As an Operations Processing Specialist at Empower, you will play a key role in ensuring the seamless back-office functions of our operations team by providing high-quality and efficient processing of back-office operations transactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process back-office administrative items such as new account setup, transfer paperwork, and disbursement transactions for the mutual fund and brokerage business lines
  • Review paperwork and application data in operations systems
  • Assist with administrative not in good order resolution via letters, emails, phone calls
  • Ensure completeness of paperwork based on department procedures, as well as perform daily transaction audits and report reviews
  • Communicate processing-related issues with operations and sales call centers

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and professional work experience
  • 1+ years of experience in operations in the financial services industry
  • FINRA fingerprinting required
  • Basic Microsoft Office knowledge
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload in a high-paced environment to complete tasks within established timelines
  • Ability to collaborate and work with all levels of management and teammates to accomplish daily deliverables with experience in managing escalated situations
  • Must be able to work independently on operational tasks
  • Works with Service, Sales, and internal business partners

Base Salary Range

$41, $57,650.00
