About Denver Springs: Denver Springs is a 96-bed behavioral health facility located in Englewood, CO, providing both inpatient and outpatient services for mental health and addiction treatment for adults, adolescents, and their families. Our mission is centered around Changing People's Lives.

Role of the Assessment Department: The Assessment team is crucial in fulfilling our mission by evaluating the needs of individuals seeking assistance through walk-ins and phone inquiries. As an Assessment Coordinator, you will support the team in delivering thorough assessments and quality therapeutic care for patients dealing with substance abuse, dual diagnosis, or psychiatric and emotional challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate the needs of individuals contacting the facility to ensure appropriate referrals to services or resources.
  • Assist in coordinating initial psychiatric evaluations for patients seeking treatment and present their symptoms to the psychiatrist for optimal care recommendations.
  • Refer and triage patients to additional treatment resources when necessary.
  • Handle all inquiry calls regarding treatment options and the facility, document interactions, and schedule appointments for prospective patients.
  • Collaborate with the business office to facilitate a seamless admission process.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in clerical duties is essential.
