Director of B2B Marketing for Payments Industry

About the Role:


In this position, you will be responsible for developing and executing a marketing strategy to drive revenue growth in the Payments industry. You will work closely with sales and product teams to understand customer needs and develop targeted marketing campaigns.


You will have a deep understanding of the Payments industry and be able to identify new business opportunities and optimize marketing strategies accordingly.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of the Payments industry and market trends
  • Crafting an annual strategy and plan to build awareness and reputation for Dow Jones' capabilities and expertise
  • Partnering with sales to drive revenue growth in the Payments industry
  • Collaborating with product teams to develop messaging and content that resonates with the target audience
  • Working with sales to gain customer advocacy and build long-term strategic partnerships


Requirements include:

  • A minimum of 12 years of B2B marketing experience, ideally in field marketing, industry marketing, and/or account-based marketing targeting Fortune 1000 Payments companies
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing measurable B2B industry marketing strategies that drive revenue growth
  • Experience marketing Risk & Compliance Data and/or Business Intelligence solutions to Fortune 1000 Financial companies is a plus


This role is based in-person in New York, NY, working on-site in our midtown Manhattan office three days a week, reporting to the Vice President B2B Marketing - Financial Services.
