Job Overview

Position Summary:

As a Desktop Support Technician at DealerOn, Inc., you will play a vital role in our IT department, delivering essential support to internal users and managing basic account functionalities. The ideal candidate will possess a creative mindset and exceptional problem-solving skills, becoming a key member of our dedicated IT team focused on maintaining the company's technological resources and infrastructure.

Work Environment:

This role is hybrid, requiring presence at our Headquarters office. Initially, you will work fully onsite for training, transitioning to a flexible schedule of 1-2 days in the office weekly thereafter. We are seeking local candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver troubleshooting and support services for a variety of devices including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and printers.
  • Resolve support inquiries promptly, emphasizing excellent customer service.
  • Install and configure software applications for distribution across workstations.
  • Assist in user account provisioning, including email setup, group memberships, and peripheral management.
  • Collaborate with systems, networking, and security teams to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Guide users in adhering to established security protocols.
  • Contribute to the documentation and maintenance of departmental Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Evaluate and test new technologies for operational enhancements.
  • Monitor and report security incidents in accordance with the Incident Response procedure.
  • Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proficient in supporting Windows Desktop Operating Systems (Windows 10, Windows 11).
  • Strong skills in desktop, laptop, and mobile hardware support.
  • Basic knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory.
  • Understanding of networking concepts, including DNS and DHCP.
  • Exceptional attention to detail in communication and deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage shifting priorities and unexpected demands.
  • Dependable with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is $56,500 - $106,800, with adjustments based on relevant factors such as experience and location.
