Position: Desktop Support Technician

As a key member of the IT department at DealerOn, Inc., the Desktop Support Technician will provide essential internal user assistance and account management. Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver troubleshooting and support services for a variety of devices, including laptops, mobile devices, printers, and other peripherals, both on-site and remotely.
  • Resolve support inquiries promptly, emphasizing exceptional customer service.
  • Install and configure software applications for workstation deployment.
  • Assist in managing user accounts, email setups, group memberships, drive mappings, and peripheral devices.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts on software updates, networking, and security tasks, identifying issues and proposing solutions.
  • Contribute to the documentation and maintenance of departmental Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Conduct imaging, repairs, and maintenance for desktops and mobile workstations.
  • Manage asset distribution, including the packaging, transportation, and reception of IT hardware.
  • Coordinate warranty repairs with equipment vendors and shipping services.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels of equipment.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in supporting Windows Desktop Operating Systems (Windows 10/11).
  • Strong background in desktop, laptop, and mobile hardware support.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts, including DNS and DHCP.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, particularly in communication and meeting deadlines.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Experience in a dynamic work environment.
  • Able to prioritize tasks effectively and manage unexpected demands.
  • Reliable, follows instructions, and takes initiative in problem-solving.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • CompTIA A+ Certification or similar credentials.
  • At least 1 year of experience in customer service.

Compensation: The salary range for this position is $37,500 - $66,300, reflecting your potential earnings with DealerOn throughout your tenure.
