Gas Systems Planning Project Engineer

Role Overview:

  • Evaluate, strategize, and design natural gas distribution frameworks utilizing engineering methodologies, hydraulic simulations, and comprehensive system insights.
  • Engage with essential stakeholders throughout the organization.
  • Deliver quantifiable outcomes in system evaluation and dependability.
  • Provide extensive coordination and assistance on designated projects.
  • Lead significant initiatives encompassing design, procurement, installation, and system testing.
  • Formulate long-term strategies for infrastructure renewal, load expansion, and system enhancement.
  • Advise on system enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Construct, employ, and sustain hydraulic simulations for gas distribution networks.
  • Perform feasibility assessments for gas service demands.
  • Offer prompt emergency assistance.
  • Devise winter operation strategies and SCADA alarm settings.
  • Propose infrastructure upgrades.
  • Design systems aligned with the Company's goals.
  • Specify and acquire materials and equipment for installations.
  • Ensure adherence to regulations and standards.
  • Mentor junior personnel and evaluate their contributions.
  • Support regulatory efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of relevant engineering experience.
