Civil Engineering Roadway Specialist - Full Time

Key Qualifications:

The Engineering Department is looking for a Civil Engineering Roadway Specialist to join our team. This role is pivotal in assisting local and municipal clients in the development and design of comprehensive roadway projects, including bike lanes, sidewalks, and drainage improvements. The ideal candidate will thrive in a supportive and collaborative environment, contributing to innovative solutions that enhance roadway safety and efficiency for all users.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation and revision of engineering documents, including reports, specifications, plans, and cost estimates using various engineering software.
  • Analyze site characteristics through existing documents, maps, and engineering plans to inform project planning and design.
  • Design roadway and utility infrastructure, focusing on geometry, grading, drainage, and stormwater management.
  • Collaborate with planners, engineers, and environmental scientists to ensure project success.
  • Engage in professional organizations to stay current in the field.
